About Us
Our mission is to make evidence-based cancer information clear, accessible, and available in multiple languages for underserved communities. We aim to reduce barriers to understanding cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care by translating complex medical information into plain language that is culturally respectful and easy to navigate. Through our work, we aim to support patients and families as they navigate cancer diagnosis and treatment options within the U.S. healthcare system.
Our team consists of students, researchers, and community volunteers from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, bringing a wide range of perspectives that help ensure our work is inclusive and community-centered. We are dedicated to making cancer treatment information easier to understand and access for people in the United States who do not speak English fluently.
